About Lynette

Being a wife and mom to 2, I definitely have my hands full while trying to juggle work, family, AND photography! How do I do it all? Some days I wonder, but I manage with lots of patience and support from the amazing people in my life...and maybe just a cup (or two or three...or six) of coffee!

I've always been a creative person. I'm an old soul at heart, and love to crochet and craft in what little spare time I have. Birthday's are a “season” for me! The 2 times a year I get to let my Pinterest boards come to life, and my husband can't say anything because “it's for the kids!”

Over the years, I've found myself looking through the countless photos I have on facebook, and I noticed that there are a lot of moments I don't have documented. Mostly moments between me and my dad. He passed away in 2008, and the last photos I have of me and him are from when he was in the hospital. I have enough memories to make up for that, but I know it's something I still wish I had. Actual, tangible, physical memories to hold onto. When I got my first digital camera for Christmas a few years ago, I found a new creative outlet that I wasn't even aware I had. I made a promise to myself that if it was a memory worth holding onto, it was a memory worth photographing.

I realized early on, that I love to capture those true, authentic, REAL moments that make you unique, and lets your personality really show. That's the style of photography that I love...True. Authentic. Real. Unique. It's those stolen glances, gentle touches, nervous first day of school, scrapped knees, first time mom holding her new baby moments that are so worth documenting! Those moments that, without a word, tell your story.
